Cellulite
What is Cellulite?
Cellulite is a localized aesthetic skin problem that causes a dimpled – bumpy orange peel-like appearance on the skin surface of women and usually affects the hips, thighs and abdomen.
Studies have found that 80-98% of women after puberty have cellulite.
Why Does It Happen?
Microscopic examinations of cellulite tissues show that the main problem is in the connective tissue called septa, which surrounds the fatty tissue in the shape of a honeycomb. In other words, the main problem is not the increase in fatty tissue but the hardening and thickening of the surrounding connective tissue. The main reason for the hardening in the connective tissue is the toxins that accumulate here and the inflammation they cause. The main reason for the accumulation of toxins is insufficient lymph drainage, as well as poor nutrition, intestinal flora disorders and hormonal imbalances.
How is it Treated?
Although it is actually a serious health problem, since it is seen as a cosmetic problem, it is usually sought with various creams and in aesthetic salons. For this purpose, G5 vibration massages, vacuum applications and ultrasound applications are performed. In centers with a more medical approach, ESWL (shock waves), carboxytherapy, ozone injections, and mesotherapy applications are common. However, all of the methods listed are aimed at accelerating blood flow and destroying fat tissue, but since this is not the main problem, permanent success cannot be achieved.
The best way to achieve a permanent cure for cellulite is a comprehensive detox program to be applied together with neural therapy. Because the main problem is connective tissue pollution and hormonal dysfunction. The best way to eliminate connective tissue pollution is to increase lymph drainage in the cellulite area. The main operating system responsible for lymph drainage is the parasympathetic part of the autonomic nervous system.
The second method that can regulate the autonomic nervous system is neural therapy. Lymph drainage massages performed externally can only cause a partial and temporary increase in lymph drainage. Vibration massages and classical massages, on the other hand, increase blood flow, not lymph drainage.
A good detox program is also essential together with neural therapy. For this purpose, nutrition should be regulated, intestinal flora should be supported, acid-base balance in the body should be provided, and heavy metals should be chelated. Adequate fluid intake, aerobic exercise and respiratory exercises are also necessary for lymph drainage and detox.
