Hashimoto Thyroiditis
What is Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis?
It is an autoimmune inflammatory disease of the thyroid gland, which is a very important element of the hormonal system. Autoimmune means being damaged by its own immune system. As a result, it is a disease that occurs with symptoms such as tremors, sweating, palpitations and weight loss due to excessive secretion of thyroid hormone into the blood due to damage to the thyroid gland, and in later stages, with symptoms such as slowing down movements, deepening of the voice, weight gain, hair loss, decreased sweating, constipation and slowing down of speech due to loss of function of the thyroid gland.
Why Does It Happen?
The causes are not fully known, risk factors such as age, gender, genetics and diseases that can be seen together are defined.
In terms of regulation medicine, autoimmune diseases are the imbalance of the immune system and its activity in a way that harms itself. The main reason for this is the stress load of the body. This stress can be mental stress, as well as biophysical stress caused by the person’s illness and surgeries, or biochemical stresses such as nutritional deficiencies, intestinal flora disorders, vitamin and mineral deficiencies and toxic loads of the body.
As a result, when the total of these stresses exceeds a certain threshold, behavioral disorders can also occur in the immune system. Among these stresses, tooth, tonsil and ear infections, excessive mental stress and intestinal candida have special importance in terms of Hashimoto’s disease.
How is Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis Treated?
In classical medicine, autoimmune suppressing drugs are given. When thyroid gland insufficiency develops, thyroid hormone supplementation is given.
In terms of regulation medicine, especially in the period when thyroid gland insufficiency has not yet developed, intestinal flora and candida levels, heavy metal and latent acidosis levels, food sensitivities, mental stress level and interference field screening, especially teeth, are performed. Causes with allergy origin are treated.
A sugar-free candida diet is applied, which is organized by taking food sensitivities into account. Intestinal flora is supported.
A chelation program is organized for acid and heavy metal loads.
Neural therapy is performed for interference field treatment and hormonal balance. If thyroid hormone is insufficient due to thyroid gland insufficiency, supplementation is required to replace it. Neural therapy does not replace hormones.
If there is mental stress, ear acupuncture, homeopathy and psychokinesiology treatments are quite effective.

Hashimoto’s thyroiditis is an autoimmune thyroid disease that occurs when the immune system attacks the thyroid gland.
Common symptoms include fatigue, weight gain, depression, hair loss, and sensitivity to cold.
The disease can be identified through blood tests measuring TSH, T3, T4, and anti-TPO antibodies.
Thyroid levels are balanced with hormone replacement therapy (levothyroxine), and immune support is provided.
Inflammation-promoting foods such as gluten and soy should be avoided, while consuming foods rich in selenium, iodine, and vitamin B12 is recommended.
